PHILANA OLIPHANT is a Texas-based artist whose interdisciplinary work includes drawings, sculpture, prints, and installations. She has exhibited her work nationally for thirty years. Recent exhibitions include The Texas National, Nacogdoches, Texas, AMoA Biennial 600 Justice-Equality-Race-Identity Amarillo Museum of Art, Amarillo Texas, Recording History, Gormley Gallery, Notre Dame of Maryland University, Texas JuriedExhibition, Fort Worth Texas, and a solo exhibition Wingload at KSpace Contemporary in Corpus Christi, Texas. She shares a studio in the woods with her husband James R. Pace, her poet daughter Aza Pace and three adorable rescued dogs.
