Frank Hamrick grew up in rural Georgia among woods, dairies, and ranch land. He obtained his BFA in photography at The University of Georgia and his MFA in photography at New Mexico State University. In 2001 Nexus Press in Atlanta, Georgia, published a book of Frank's photographs entitled i found it when i stopped looking.
